YOGA DE LA RISA EN ISLA DE PASCUA

LAUGHTER YOGA IN EASTER ISLAND

EL VUELO DE 5 1/2 HORAS A RAPA NUI(ISLA DE PASCUA) RESULTÓ ALGO MOVIDO, PERO CASI NI LO NOTÉ PORQUE ESTABA TAN CONCENTRADA EN LA PELÍCULA. IBA CONTRATADA POR PAULA ROSETI ,DE KONA YOGA, PARA REALIZAR TALLERES Y UN CURSO DE CERTIFICACIÓN DE LÍDERES DE YOGA DE LA RISA EN LA ISLA.

A MI LLEGADA ME FUE A ESPERAR LA FAMILIA COMPLETA DE PAULA Y ME RECIBIERON CON ESTE HERMOSO COLLAR DE FLORES.

THE 5 1/2 HOUR FLIGHT TO RAPA NUI(EASTER ISLAND) WAS A LITTLE SHAKY, BUT I HARDLY NOTICED IT AS I WAS SO CONCENTRATED ON THE FILM. I WAS HIRED BY PAULA ROSETI, FROM KONA YOGA,TO GIVE LAUGHTER YOGA WORKSHOPS AND A LEADER CERTIFICATION COURSE IN THE ISLAND.

ALL OF PAULA'S FAMILY WENT TO PICK ME UP AT THE AIRPORT AND THEY GREETED ME WITH THIS BEAUTIFUL FLOWER NECKLACE.

LUEGO ME LLEVARON A "MI CASA". UNA CABAÑA MUY ACOGEDORA QUE ESTÁ EN LA MISMA PROPIEDAD EN LA QUE ELLOS VIVEN.LA PUERTA QUE SE VE EN LA FOTO,ES EL BAÑO.

THEN THEY TOOK ME TO MY "HOUSE" , A LOVELY CABIN ON THE SAME PREMISES WHERE THEY LIVE. THE DOOR IN THE PICTURE IS THE BATHROOM.

Después de almorzar unas empanadas en casa de ellos,salimos a pasear un poco en auto para que vea algo de la isla. El cielo y el mar son de una belleza increíble, especialmente con este día de mucho viento. Las olas son inmensas y caen con fuerza sobre el roquerío volcánico que cubre las orillas , casi sin arena .
After having empanadas for lunch at their home we went for a car ride so I could see some of the island. The sky and the ocean are incredibly beautiful,especially in this very windy day. The waves are huge and they fall heavily on the volcanic rocks that cover the shore, which hardly has any sand.

Cuando volvimos y fuimos a ver la galería de Ana María, que pinta y hace grabados. Ella está casada con Bene,un nativo de Rapa Nui que es un famoso escultor en madera. Ambos comparten el taller ahí mismo, así que aproveché de ver lo que hacían. Junto con Paula producen papel reciclado . Ana Maria pega poesías escritas por Pau en él y las decora con figuras y plumas . Esas las vende en la galería, junto al arte que la pareja produce.

When we came back we went to see Ana Maria´s Gallery. She's married to Bene, a Rapa Nui

native who is a famous wood sculptor. They both share the working space , so a got to see the things that they were working at. Together with Paula they make recycled paper. Ana María pastes poems written by Paola on these and decorates them with figures and feathers. Then they are sold at the gallery with all the other art work that the couple produce.

Como era el Día de Todos los Santos, fuimos al cementerio al atardecer.Es chiquito, lleno de toda clase de cruces y figuras talladas, y cada tumba está decorada con bellas flores naturales y objetos varios. El cementerio mira hacia el mar.

TOUR DE YOGA DE LA RISA DIA 1 -SANTIAGO

Laura Gentry es una profesora de Yoga de la Risa que conocí en el curso de Certificación de Profesores que tomamos con el Dr. Kataria en Los Angeles,California. Hemos estado conectándonos por Facebook y, hace como un mes decidió venir de vacaciones a Chile con su marido. Me pidió información de arriendo de auto y de hoteles. Se me ocurrió que sería una linda oportunidad para que yo también visitara partes de Chile que no conocía, así que los invité a quedarse conmigo en Santiago y que viajáramos en mi auto. E inventamos un TOUR DE LA RISA . Sería documentado por William, que es fotógrafo profesional y documentarista.
Llegaron el día 8 de Septiembre a las 8 AM y fui a buscarlos al aeropuerto

Laura Gentry is a Laughter Yoga Teacher whom I met at the Teacher's Certification Course that we both took with Dr. Kataria in Los Angeles,California. We have been connecting since by Facebook and

about a month ago she decided to come to Chile for vacations with her husband , William.

When she asked me for hotel and car rental information I thought it would be a great opportunity for me to know parts of the country that I still have not visited, so I invited them to stay with me in Santiago and travel together in my car. So we invented THE LAUGHTER TOUR. It would be documented by William, a proffessional Photographer and Documentalist.

They arrived on September 8th at 8 AM.

El Líder de Yoga de la Risa de Talca, Leonardo Romano, llamó justo a tiempo para ser invitado a quedarse a alojar con nosotros.

No lo reconocí cuando lo vi. ¡Está muy cambiado!

Laughter Yoga Leader Leonardo Romano, from the city of Talca, called just on time to be invited to stay with us . I didn´t recognize him when I saw him. He had changed so much!

Nos quedamos conversando hasta tarde, mientras Laura y William, cansados, se fueron a dormir. Se fue al otro día después del desayuno, así que fue cortita la convivencia.

We stayed up talking till late, while Laura and William were tired, so they went to sleep.He left the next day after breakfast, so the meeting was quite short.

ESTUVO GENIAL LA SESION DE LA ALDEA.
HUBO MAS O MENOS UNAS 30 PERSONAS Y LO PASAMOS MUY BIEN.
AMBOS PERIODISTAS,TANTO DE TELEVISIÓN NACIONAL COMO DE CHILEVISIÓN , IGUAL QUE LOS CAMARÓGRAFOS ,TODOS ENCANTADORES. PARTICIPARON CON SU PRESENCIA Y SE RIERON CON NOSOTROS. LA GENTE QUE FUE, QUE NO TENÍA IDEA QUE IBA LA TELE, Y ,EN GENERAL, ERA LA PRIMERA VEZ QUE PARTICIPABA. TAMBIÉN FUE MARAVILLOSA. TODOS SE ABRIERON , SE RELAJARON, Y NO SE MOSTRARON TÍMIDOS NI INHIBIDOS.
LOS AMIGOS DE LA ALDEA NOS PUSIERON UN CUBREPISOS EN LA SALA, ESTUFITAS ,SILLAS Y...LA VERDAD,SE VEÍA MUY ACOGEDORA.
GRACIAS A TODOS. ES LA 1 DE LA MAÑANA Y AÚN NO SALE LA NOTICIA. YO YA ME QUEDO DORMIDA. VOY A AGUANTAR,PORQUE QUIERO VER SI SALE.
JA,JA,JA Y NO SALIÓ!!!!

YOGA DE LA RISA EN REVISTA MUJER DE LA TERCERA

Estoy muy contenta con las repercusiones que tuvo el artículo de la Revista Mujer del Diario La Tercera del domingo pasado y que les copié en el blog.
Ha llamado y escrito muchísima gente y hasta los otros medios de comunicación quieren hacer notas.

¡MUY BIEN, MUY BIEN, EHHHHHH !

Mañana irán de unos canal de TV a grabarnos en la Aldea del Encuentro de La Reina, así que ,nos vemos allí a las 7PM en la sala 3. La sesión es gratuita y pueden ir todas las personas que quieran reír un rato con nosotros. Hay estacionamiento adentro y es gratis.
